| I grew up the son of a congregational minister and have lived here in New England my whole life and in Massachusetts
since I was 5. I attended the University of Massachusetts in Amherst from where I recieved my
bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering and worked for New England Telephone in Worcester (now Verizon) for most of the
1990s. During that time I felt God's increasing call to go into full-time ministry and eventually decided to go for
it. I graduated from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in 2000 and became pastor of this church later that same
year.
God has blessed me with a wonderful soul mate and life partner, my wife Kathy. He has also blessed
us with with two lively children Tim and Katie currently in Middle School here in Holden.
I love to sing.
I love to talk. I love to hang out and have fun.
Most importantly, I am committed to the historic
Christian faith and to making it relavent in our challenging 21st century world. My personal mission is "to
teach, uphold and defend the gospel of Jesus Christ in my generation and pass it on faithfully to the next." I
am committed to seeing everyone from the youngest child to the most senior adult embrace the good news of Jesus
Christ and grow in faithful committed discipleship.
