Our Purpose...

Our purpose is to provide a warm, nurturing, safe and loving environment where self concepts are enhanced, independence encouraged and individuality respected.

We believe the most effective learning takes place when a child is self- motivated. The teacher's role is to provide the children with choices in which they can explore the materials provided at their own rate and in their own style. The teacher is ready to guide, to be a resource and to provide fun, engaging activities that appeal to the children's interests.

Our Program...

Our program is designed to expose the child to many kinds of learning experiences in all areas of development: fine and gross motor, sensory exploration, social/emotional and cognitive development. The environment is rich in learning possibilities where the child may explore freely within the many areas of the class-rooms, including, art, writing, math, science, sensory, blocks, and dramatic play. Our program is designed to meet the different developmental stages of the preschool-aged child.

Our Tuesday/Thursday morning classes are geared to the children who are just 2.9 and this is their first school experience . The curriculum heavily focuses on helping the child to grow socially and emotionally. Building their self-help skills and confidence. The children are also exposed to basic math, science, and language concepts.

Our Monday/Wednesday/Friday classes, which are held both in the morning and the afternoon are geared to the older preschooler. Preparing the children for PK or Kindergarten. Although, the teachers continue with the social/emotional curriculum, the children will also be introduced to skills needed for school, such as word recognition, writing skills and more complex math concepts.
