 Ouch! Not too long ago, we discovered that our post-and-beam
sanctuary, built circa 1789, had a problem. Sill plates and posts in some of the walls had failed. It was time
to restore the walls and to tend to other much-needed maintenance of the church exterior, sanctuary, and utilities.
A capital campaign, Reaffirming Our Foundation, was launched and will continue
through 2008. Funds are actively being sought, and the restoration work is already underway. When completed, we
expect that our church will again proudly stand as the center point of our church community, testifying to the glory of God.
