We feel our kids are ready to receive their first real Bible and start learning how to use it once they are in 2nd grade.  Jr. Disciples class is designed specifically for that purpose.  The kids go through three weeks of meetings with Pastor John where they learn about Baptism and Communion as well as basic Bible skills and then they are recognized in a special Sunday morning service where they are welcomed to participate in Communion with the whole congregation.
